Kingscote woman arrested
on cannabis charges

A 57-year-old Kingscote woman was arrested by police last week after 5.5kg of dried cannabis was found in her home.

About 3.30pm on Friday 17 April, Kangaroo Island Police attended a home at Kingscote to conduct a search where the officers located the drugs. 

​

The woman was arrested for trafficking a commercial quantity of a controlled drug and hinder police. She was bailed to appear in the Kingscote Magistrates Court on 17 August.
