Daniel Clarke
Daniel Clarke is a Walkley Award winning journalist (2023), specialising in environment, social affairs and rural writing. Named 2023 SA Journalist of the Year, he has also won the Best Freelance and Best Rural/Regional category in the South Australian Media Awards. Daniel has over 20 years experience writing for some of the nation's largest newspapers and magazines.

His work has been published in The Australian, The Advertiser, Herald Sun, Daily Telegraph, The Big Issue, National Indigenous Times and Amnesty International Magazine.​ He currently writes regular feature articles for The Advertiser's SA Weekend magazine.

He has also worked as a media/communications officer for Save the Children Australia, Australian Conservation Foundation, Victoria University, Environment Victoria, and APY Land Management.
